Description

Erect herb with whitish-mealy on the young shoots and inflorescence. Leaves are dark green, ovate -elliptic , acute or subacute at the apex, the margin with several coarse teeth on each side. Inflorescence is a terminal panicle, often rather small and irregular with small clusters of flowers. Sepals slightly keeled, red, powdery. Seed black, slightly shining, sharply keeled, closely and very minutely pitted, not marked with radial lines.
