Description

Annual herb. Stem spreads diffusely, creeping, branching heavily and rooting at the nodes. Leaves are lanceolate, subsessile with a leaf sheath covered with hispid pubescence. Flowers are arranged into scorpioid cymes. 2 to 4 flowers, sepals are inconspicuous, petals are blue. Fruits is are capsules, with three locules and 2 valves. Seeds are five, brown.
